President
Mark Miller joined the SIMA Board of Directors in March 2022 and became president in January 2024. He has lived in Flower Mound since 2008 and has been a member of Seniors in Motion since 2019.
A freelance writer and editor, his work has appeared in local publications including the Cross Timbers Gazette, Flower Mound Town Life, Lantana Living and Argyle Living. He also writes for four national bowling publications and has prepared resumes for people both in North Texas and around the world.
He worked for the United States Bowling Congress for nearly 25 years first in suburban Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, then in Arlington, Texas, from 2008-2010.
The University of Wisconsin journalism graduate grew up in the Milwaukee area. He moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas, for his first sports writing job. Two years later he went to Bloomington, Illinois, where he worked for five years before moving back to Wisconsin to join the bowling industry.
He is a widower with one daughter and a son-in-law who live with him and their two dogs.
