Flower Mound residents age 65 and older and/or with verifiable disabilities who meet certain financial criteria and need transportation between their homes and the Flower Mound Senior Center can apply for discounted rates through the SIMA Transportation Scholarship program.

Thanks to a partnership with SPAN, Inc. of Denton County, eligible members will be reimbursed 80% of their travel costs riding to and from the Senior Center. Members are transported on vehicles equipped with lifts to accommodate people in wheelchairs.

To start the process, stop by the Senior Center front desk or click here to submit a SPAN application. Once accepted, you will then be provided further instructions on how to take advantage of the scholarship.
